Yes, I'm still doing this. It's fun!
So, this is from early in 2005, as the Basil Flint strip was coming to an end. This is the first time I've drawn Martina in a while, and I was pleased as punch to do so. She's a fave.
The original panel has many flaws, but a lot of the problems can be traced back to the rubbish lettering, which clearly takes up way too much of the panel. As a result, Martina is shoved down awkwardly into the corner. The panel itself is also bizarrely thin, severely limiting the amount of art I could get in there to begin with.
