This week's Flashback Friday takes us all the way back to 2002! Young Ms. Troutman was in her first year of college and full of hope for the future. That poor, deluded young lady.
Flashback Friday draws from my archives between 2000 and 2008, and those comics are, like, 90% Amanda, so get ready to see our favorite beanpole blonde a lot. She's actually my oldest non-Sporkman character, originating shortly after Sporky himself.
Updating this panel was simple, but relatively time-consuming since I'm determined to not just show my progress from Point A to Point B, but to actively improve upon my current self as well. Which is to say, I'm learning, and forcing myself to do better. In this case, I'm turning my background game up to eleven.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy this weekly series, because I genuinely look forward to it myself, to the point where I have to restrain myself from drawing it early.
