I wanted to draw something for fun, so it's time for another FLASHBACK FRIDAY. I initially thought this one pushed the limits of this series's format, then I realized that this was NINE YEARS AGO. Jesus, time is a terrifying force. Anyway, most of the art in MESS isn't anything I'm particularly ashamed of. I mean, I'm better now, but it 's incremental. That said, today's strip from nine years ago did end with these two lazy, flat panels, so I JAZZED 'EM UP a bit.
